Each year the Church welcomes new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Typically occurring at the Easter Vigil Mass, Catechumens receive the Sacraments of Initiation as needed: Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion. Such an important day deserves a special gift to commemorate the occasion. It is hard to find a gift that encompasses all three sacraments at one time, so we designed this rosary in celebration and appreciation of all our new Catholic brothers and sisters. The Our Father beads are made of bright red marble - a color associated with the Holy Spirit. Dark wood decade beads remind us to always keep ourselves close to the heart of Jesus on the cross. The ornate centerpiece features a dove descending from heaven (representing the Holy Spirit in Confirmation), two shells (representing the pouring of water in Baptism), and a Chalice and Host (representing the Holy Eucharist). Includes a prayer card of the Mysteries of the Rosary.
