Rosary Bracelets
What is a Rosary Bracelet?
Unlike the larger five-decade rosary, the rosary bracelet is compact and meant to be worn on your wrist. It is a great option for someone who doesn’t often have pockets, doesn’t like their rosary to get tangled, or likes to have their rosary accessible at all times. Rosary bracelets are very similar to one decade rosaries, but can have some differences. The rosary bracelet represents just one decade of a rosary but is slightly bigger so it can slide on and off your wrist. It often has a small crucifix paired with a miraculous medal or other Marian or saint medal. The bracelet can be made of metal chain, memory wire, or even fabric cords. For the introductory prayers there may be only one large bead - the Our Father bead - however some rosary bracelets do have one large bead followed by three smaller beads (just like the introduction on a five-decade rosary). After the introduction follows ten Hail Mary Beads. When you finish those prayers you come back around to the Our Father Bead and the crucifix.
