Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is in the center surrounded by the words that appear on all Miraculous Medals by request of Our Lady: "O Mary, Conceived Without Sin, Pray For Us Who Have Recourse to Thee." In certain places around the medal, especially along the border, an engraving technique is used that creates visual depth and allows the medal to shine and reflect the light more beautifully.
